DeepOmega, strictlyalright, syourh, and I started a single serving tumblr called Downton Tabby because we know how much you all like cats and frumpy English people. Only one of us has actually seen the show. I’ll get to work on opening it up to submissions soon. There’s one rule: tabbies only. We don’t want any persians or abyssinians or torties clogging up the joint. Nothing against those other cats, it’s just that it would be misleading and lazy, obviously.
I worked coat check at the Sheryl Crow concert tonight. This isn’t my department and usually security does it but they were short staffed and I volunteered because, I mean, coats! And numbers! Also, I made a bunch of tips so I have to submit a photo to cashcats.biz now.
Mildred is basically, like, rummaging through the kitchen stuff right now? Almost like she’s a stranger or something and this is the first time she’s ever been in the kitchen even though she lives here. I don’t even know what she’s looking for, there’s food in her bowl. God, I’m anthropomorphizing again.
BARR - “A Call”
This little cat has been visiting Emily and me for the past couple of months or so (she usually runs in when I’m out smoking):
It’s pretty much the “purrfect” cat scenario because she pops in for an hour or two, gets all affectionate and plays kitten games with us, then she leaves and we don’t have to worry ourselves about things like litter boxes or vet runs.
